From Couture Roots to Screen Mastery
Tina Thakkar’s design ethos is grounded in the deep belief that wardrobe is not merely garment selection—it is the psychological architecture of a character. Whether conceiving the distressed legal robes of district court attorneys in Vakeel Babu, the handloom sarees of Pratibadh, or the vibrant contemporary aesthetics of over 200 television commercials, she ensures that every thread supports the narrative.
Her formative years at Mumbai's premier fashion technology institutes gave her rigorous foundations in pattern cutting, textile behavior, and color psychology. Over 27 continuous years on production floors across India, she has perfected on-set continuity, high-speed wardrobe changes, and camera-safe color palettes.
